franchisee.
Brought to Mr. Handyman by an IFPG Consultant, this client was a
lead provided by IFPG Vendor Member Career Transition Leads. "Can't
thank Dan with CTL enough. He's providing me great leads and I'm
closing 1-2+ deals each month since I started with him." said the
savvy consultant who earned a $30,000 commission for this deal.
Mr. Handyman is part of The Dwyer Group which operates 11
service based franchises in the US. They are well-known for their
training and support. The client was looking for something within
the home improvement industry so the consultant introduced several
Dwyer Brands. Mr. Handyman was of the greatest interest and best
fit.
The client wanted to establish something of his own that he
could pass down to his kids. Despite some roadblocks, the IFPG
broker stayed in constant contact with his client and the
Franchisor, and attributes that to the success of this deal.
"I try to be there as a mentor/coach for my clients. I never
pressure them into anything. I only guide. They'll make the right
decision if they should move forward or not. It's my job to help
them gather the information to make that decision, not to "sell"
them on a thought" said the consultant.
The client used cash on hand as well as an SBA Express Loan
through First Financial, an IFPG Vendor Member, that was
recommended by both the consultant and Mr. Handyman.
This was the consultant's second deal with a Dwyer Group brand
in the last 45 days. "They're great to work with and I know my
clients are in good hands with any of their brands."
