Transition Squad Franchise Cost and Requirements for 2024

Background

Transition Squad is a low overhead, home-based, full service downsizing company for seniors and their families. We have a menu of services including organizing, selling the contents of clients' homes, clearing out the premises, donation management and moving services. Each of these is a separate revenue stream, but in combination create a powerful, high margin, one-stop-shop.

We bundle our services together based on the needs of each client but our core specialty, and the reason most clients call us, is selling the contents through our own online auction platform, estate sales and consignment. Our bronze, silver and gold packages are designed for a variety of client situations and budgets.

Our mission is to take away the burden of the downsizing process, find a good home for clients' belongings and maximize the selling price on their behalf. Clients like the business model because it makes their lives easier and helps them get more for their precious belongings. However, they sign up with us because they feel our reps will treat their belongings with the same level of care and respect as if it were their own.

Buying a Franchise Guide: What is a Franchise Disclosure Document?

When evaluating a franchise opportunity, reading and understanding the current version of their FDD is a necessity. Considering the benefits of franchising, such as established brand recognition and support from the franchisor, it's important to also take into account franchise fees and franchising royalty fees. Since most franchisors are privately owned companies, the current versions of their FDDs are typically not available unless requested directly from them.
