& Support:
New
Spherion franchisees receive more than 380 hours of
training/support for planning and opening your franchise. Our
corporate support includes in-person and web-based training for
sales, marketing, human resources, and back office expertise. No
owner opens their doors less than fully prepared to go to
market.
Spherion
also requires all new franchisees to attend our new owner boot camp
at our corporate offices in Atlanta, GA. This one-week training
curriculum reinforces Spherion's proven operating practices,
quality philosophy and culture while building your recruitment and
business development skills in a collaborative environment with
other new Spherion franchisees.
Once you
open your office, we join you for for 80 hours in the first month
of operation to continue building your confidence as a new staffing
business owner through sales and operations skill development. This
additional in-person assistance helps you jump-start revenue growth
while making room for you to focus on clients and candidates from
the start. We offer concurrent training to your new and seasoned
staff members to support their professional development and ensure
a fast start to productivity and revenue generation.
Spherion's
training curriculum continues with monthly online events about
technology, recruitment, compliance, safety, workforce trends and
business development. We never stop assisting our owners and their
teams with their professional growth in pursuit of ever-greater
business success.
General
Staffing / Commercial Model
Spherion's general staffing model
is available in many mid-sized cities and towns as
well as some rural areas. Spherion commercial office franchisees
primarily support light industrial and administrative positions
and, in some markets, professional staffing and recruiting as well.
General staffing market geographies typically cover single or
multiple counties. Spherion general staffing office locations are
most commonly located in shopping centers anchored by a landmark
like a grocery store or bank. The general staffing model always
starts with one office. However, franchisees often have the
opportunity to open multiple offices to provide better coverage of
assigned or expanded territory.
Competition
Staffing vendors are
critical to businesses, so most use multiple suppliers. This leaves
the door open for a Spherion owner to steal market share. SIA
predicts the US staffing industry (excluding nurse staffing) will
reach $184.6 billion in 2024. Spherion is bullish on that
projection. We expect employers' demand for flexibility and
scalability to continue fueling demand for our services.
Our strong candidate-client relationships
and exceptional service backed by the resources of the global
leader in human resources allows Spherion to cater to the
ever-changing demands of America's workforce.
