The D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches franchise is a staple of New England. Starting as a single sandwich shop in Dedham, Mass., the brand has expanded to more than 80 locations across Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine. D'Angelo's signature sandwich, the Number 9 grilled steak (or chicken), sizzling onions, peppers and mushrooms blanketed by melted American cheese and served up on a soft Italian roll or signature Pokket. Franchisees benefit from the leadership team's 170 combined years of experience with great brands and a proven model that has been around for nearly six decades. They also appreciate the opportunity to give back to the community. The brand's EveryDAy Heroes program is a great example of how franchise owners can give back to the people and organizations who do so much for their communities.
The ideal franchisee has a minimum five years of multi-unit franchise restaurant experience; a strong operational background; leadership, hiring, and local restaurant marketing skills; a residence in the market they're invested in; and business savvy. They're not allowed to have competing food service concepts and must be a fit to the D’Angelo cultural philosophy. The typical initial investment range is $411,250 – $706,500, which includes a one-time franchise fee of $30,000. Royalty fees are 5% of gross sales. You can expect an initial training program that details everything you need to know about the brand. This program will be broken down into classroom and on-the-job instruction. During that time, you'll be instructed on marketing and advertising, food prep, hiring, and more. You'll also be provided with social media and grand opening assistance. Support and training are ongoing.
