A popular franchising concept is the full-service restaurant. A regional full-service restaurant to consider is The Dirty Buffalo. The brand was established in 2012 by Russell Gilbert, a Western N.Y. native. He met his wife in Buffalo and moved to Virigina after suffering cold New York winters. They saw the need to bring a full-service restaurant with authentic Westen New York food they've become accustomed to eating. After receiving a marketing degree at Old Dominion University, Gilbert set to work on creating a family-friendly restaurant and sports bar featuring his own interpretation of his favorite Western New York dishes. The brand's menu includes salads, hot dogs, wings, mac bowls, burgers, buffalo bites, and more. Customers can also enjoy draft beer in a family-friendly environment. Since opening its doors in 2012, the brand has expanded to several locations throughout Virigina. In addition to being a valued member of the community, The Dirty Buffalo franchisees can enjoy the added revenue from merchandise and online sales. An exciting moment for the brand was when it was featured on the Food Network's show "Diners, Dive-ins, and Dives." It was also a milestone when the brand signed its first franchisee.
Franchisees will appreciate the opportunity to give back to the community. Customers can have an event or a fundraiser sponsored by The Dirty Buffalo. The ideal candidate should value honesty, teamwork, diversity and personal accountability. Priority is given to causes that promote the health, welfare and education of children as well as military members and their families.
