Training:
Initial assistance provided by The Franchisor will include the
following franchisee training programs:
Phase I - Bohemian Bull will provide franchisees with approximately
four to six weeks of initial training at the Franchisor's
headquarters in Charleston, or at a location designated by the
Franchisor, beginning approximately eight to twelve weeks before
the franchisee is scheduled to open for business. Phase I
instruction will pertain to administrative, operational, and
sales/marketing matters; it will also include a liberal amount of
on-the-job training including: cooking, managing, operational
skills, cleaning, inventory control, instilling culture, point of
sale training, and others. This training will be provided for the
franchisee and up to two other team members.
Phase II -- Training provided at the franchisee's location: On-site
training typically takes place when the franchisee commences
operations of their Bohemian Bull restaurant. An experienced
training team from Bohemian Bull Cooperate will provide on-site
training for a period of three weeks to assist the franchisee in
the commencement of operations. The onsite training will typically
begin one week prior to the opening of the restaurant and carry
through a week or so after the restaurant has opened for business.
This onsite training will primarily involve the franchisor coming
to the territory to market and meet with initial contacts for the
franchisee's benefit. This work will be entirely field-based work
and will focus on getting the franchisee comfortable with operating
the business.
No franchisee will be allowed to commence operations until the
franchisee has successfully completed Phase I of the initial
training program. The franchisee will not be permitted to continue
operations until successfully completing Phase II of the initial
training program. If the franchisee fails to meet the initial
requirements specified by the Franchisor, the Franchisor may, at
its option, require the completion of additional training or may
cancel the Franchise Agreement.
Franchisees will be required to attend up to two days of
refresher/update training per year in up to two sessions. Space
permitting, the Franchisor will provide the opportunity for
franchisees to send additional personnel for refresher training.
This training will be provided at no cost, but the franchisee will
pay for all applicable travel, lodging, and out-of-pocket
expenses.
